Get ready for another AMAZING driving weekend in and around Hamilton, Mt. (about 45 miles south of Missoula). We’re in the early stages of planning. Folks from Western WA or Oregon might stay Thursday night in Coeur d’Alene as we did last year, making the Friday AM drive to Hamilton about 3.25 hours. People coming from Boise or Sun Valley will likely stop in Stanley or Challis, Idaho to make it a “doe-able” drive Friday AM. Friday’s drive after lunch in Hamilton will be short-ish, Saturday’s drive will be a big 300-mile loop of the mountains, Lunch in Phillipsburg, Mt.
